How the puzzles are chosen

For every kind of board the generator made 200 puzzles of its Hard level. A solver that thinks like a player solved each of them and counted the steps that need the harder techniques: what if, islands, loops and lamps. The puzzles here are the ones with the most of them.

Hard: harder than four in five puzzles of the game’s Hard level of the same board; expect islands and loops, now and then a what-if.
Very hard: among the hardest twentieth of them; several what-ifs, often one after another.
